Sometimes the closest family a person could have is not by blood. I think people are able to create their own families, that are just as important, if not more so, at times.
[ He's taken a little aback by the question. . . brows creasing as he considers how to respond. Is that actually a possibility? For him to become human. He's quiet for a moment before speaking. ]
I am not sure that I can give you a satisfactory answer. I think... that we become a little bit of all that we have encountered in life. Such as the form you are taking right now, and that of the miss from the room before this one. That is the same for myself and everyone else in the world. For that reason, it is my opinion that we are always in a state of inevitable change.
If there is something that you admire about humanity and wish to emulate, then I think it is alright to emulate the portions that you appreciate. But that does not mean you have to accept everything because you do not have to be just one thing.
In the past, I have told both you and Lucifel that you are human, and you have both protested. But I should rectify my meaning behind the word. When I say that someone is 'human', it means that I view them as an individual that is worthy of the same consideration and regard as anyone else.
Lucifel is someone whom I love like a brother. And so I want him to live happily, or be allowed to experience joy as well as respect and concern from others. I do not wish for people to treat him poorly due to not being the same as that of a typical human being, because he still experiences emotions of both pain and love, sorrow, and regret.
There are vampires, and demons, and other beings within this place as well who are not necessarily human too. I think that their existence should be treated with the same level of importance.
And so, I do not think it is necessary that you have to be human to be allowed to experience a life of your own or that which you desire. You should still be allowed to experience those things as you are.
Re: A Certain Household
You have many you are cooking for. Are they your family?

He glances into the living room over the kitchen counter, smiling warmly at the gathering.
"You could say that. Though I'm not actually related to any of them by blood."
