The sun is still shining. It's still raining.

the demon is here, kneeling on the ground.

[ How did he come to be faced with this thing all alone. ]

"I didn't. This is where they left me after they were done."

[ He's amazed that they just let him go. Or maybe they thought he would die here...? ]

The thing laughs, a cruel mocking sound.

The thing looks at you, and you see now that it's not a demon at all. It's a man - or the remains of one, maimed and broken and mangled so much that he's barely recognisable as a human at all.

How...did he not see this before? Why...? His stomach feels sick, shock and horror bubbling in his throat, and he genuinely feels nauseous, lifting a hand up to his mouth while he swallows the bile thickly. ]

[ Why was he so blind? He moves forward tentatively, a hand reaching out toward him but he's afraid to touch him. Is it possible to without causing him more pain? ]

[ He needs help ]
