Heart Game: Duality - Round 1
Your sleep is restless, and it's hard to settle as your eyelids refusing to stop twitching, and you can feel an itch at the back of your mind, flashes of uncomfortable thoughts dipping in and out of your dreams, constantly interrupting your tries to relax. ... Are you even asleep?
...
Apparently you were, because you wake up with a start, cheek pressed uncomfortably to steel flooring and flickering lights overhead. Unfortunately, you don't feel very rested at all.

Re: STAIRCASE
Re: STAIRCASE
...thanks, dude. That was a whole lot of cats.
Re: STAIRCASE
[He looks back up the staircase. Whatever's up there's probably out of cats by now, right?]
You wanna keep going up? I'm not sure that was a warning shot so much as really annoying.
Re: STAIRCASE
[Stepping over the (much smaller) cats to continue upward.]
Re: STAIRCASE
There are no railings, nothing to keep you from falling off the stairs into the dark if you stumble. The dark seems to be the same kind of dark that C tried to put his hand into out in the hallway.]
Re: STAIRCASE
[K notes it as weird and keeps climbing because what is he gonna do, turn back? That would mean the catvalanche won, and he is not going to back down to a bunch of plush toys.]
Can you see a top to this thing?
Re: STAIRCASE
[Well. Good thing he's light on his feet.]
[Going to be really careful with the footing and keep pressing upward.]
Not yet. Guess that means we better keep going.
Re: STAIRCASE
[All right, Duality, what you got for us up here?]
... hm. Hang on. I got an idea.
[He snaps his fingers: yup, that's a small fire at his fingertips. How incredibly comforting. Let's put that on the Maybe Never column. On the other hand, can he see any better now?]
Re: STAIRCASE
Surely it must have an end?]
Re: STAIRCASE
...jeez. These things go forever.
Re: STAIRCASE
[His foot brushes a stray, small-ish plushie, and he picks it up. Squeezes it.]
... cat storage?
Re: STAIRCASE
Who's got a stairway to nowhere, unless you're like that Winchester lady.
Re: STAIRCASE
[Okay, let's just keep climbing until we get SOMEwhere.]
Re: STAIRCASE
Re: STAIRCASE
...you don't got a key, do you?
Re: STAIRCASE
[That'd be a no.
[Right, is this thing flush to the floor? Because if it ain't K is totally going to shrink himself and Hurricane so they can get through the crack.]

Welcome to Prison.]
