In the beginning, there is nothing but darkness and silence. A sleep that gives no rest but one out of necessity in order to keep functioning. Behind closed eyelids, the numbers of a clock tick down - one painstaking second at a time.

TIME UNTIL REBOOT:


And then you wake up.

As you shift to a standing position, you feel something sharp and pointed press against your side. Digging into the nearest pocket, you will find two small puzzle pieces. And from their odd shape, it looks like they would fit into a 3D spherical puzzle. Odd. You've never seen them before, but you do get a sense that these are a currency of some sort. Spend them wisely!

Do you know what to do with these?

[ His eyes light up. ] Oh! I do! I do! [ And he runs to the FiN Common room table to pick up his half finished spherical puzzle. Which he is enthusiastically holding up to Lucifel for him to slot them in. ] The UR Lucifel pieces.

[sancrimony]

[ hummm. taking his time to look it over, as though he's not familiar with puzzles or otherwise not quite understanding how the puzzle works, before he slots his pieces in ]

"UR"?

[bluescreenwhitedragon]

[ He doesn't have to know. They slot in easily regardless. ] Ultra-Rare, of course.

hums, considering his words for a moment ]

Ultra-Rare, mm?

Certainly, my rarity is 5 stars, but I didn't think that would carry over to this world, too. Well now, what will this puzzle do with these UR pieces when it's done?

It's my soul puzzle! And that means--- No matter what happens, you'll always be a part of it. You don't have to worry about leaving because now you can't.

I don't know... [ Holds out the puzzle ] Still seems I'm missing a lot. And I don't know where they are.

[ hum ]

There was a room with many cameras to every other location, here. We could go there, but . . .

[ with a tap of his chin ]

I think it will be somewhat dangerous.

[bluescreenwhitedragon]

Oooooooh. You must mean that hallway. ... If you're with me, it won't be dangerous. But also--- past me is a dick. He's just gonna get mad and fussy.

[sancrimony]

Mm, I'll certainly protect you - but that's true.

Does he scare you?

[bluescreenwhitedragon]

I don't know if scare is the right word. He's just so... [ Thinks about it for a long time ] Angry. All the time. Angry and brooding. Everything Mokuba tells me I shouldn't be.

[sancrimony]

. . . Mokuba?

[bluescreenwhitedragon]

My little brother! He's the greatest! He used to be the VP of my company, but now he runs Heaven while I run Hell.

[sancrimony]

Ah - I see.

[ with a nod ]

Well, you'll be who you'll be. If you don't want to go there, we can go to the other areas and see about finding people that way.

[bluescreenwhitedragon]

But you just got here? And I don't know how long you can stay. Are we really only going to do work?

[ Takes Lucifel's hand and looks him straight in the eye ] I want to go to the amusement park. Do you like heights?

[ VERY SERIOUSLY, IN TURN, hamming it up even ]

I love heights and rides that go very fast.

Then get ready for the best ride of your life.

[ And unless stopped, he is pulling Lucifel out of the FiN dorms ]

[ he is DEFINITELY letting himself be pulled by this child ]

[ They go back out through the Snake Pit and to the elevator - hitting Ground Floor and ending up at the Central CPU where you are free to take a pitstop to talk to the rebooted Intensity. He is no longer in a coma now ]
