There is the wail of a large beast that echoes faintly. It sounds hurt but not angry, and the feathers and fur give way to the blade with some blood pouring over the cut but just as soon as it seems like there is only flesh underneath, more fur appears. It is a tawny brown-red.
The slight yelp gives away that the fur doesn't belong to a large animal, rather a smaller one, and the skin heaves slightly as if breathing but . . . It gives way to something much lighter, less furry. It's easily recognizable as human skin.

[nods and turns to face it with him, but leans back on his hand]
Yeah. Find the piece that doesn't fit.

[tilts his head in a half nod]
You wish I'd let him stay?
no subject
I didn't want fighting, but I did wnat him to stay, but I don't blame you or him for him leaving.
no subject
Mm.
He really didn't fit, but maybe he doesn't fit anywhere.
[silver hasn't asked for help so he doesn't move, just sits up a little more to watch]
no subject
He belonged with us. It was just hard to tell from first glance.
no subject
You think I only glanced once?
[sighs a bit, but doesn't sound mad. and yes you have your knife]
He doesn't belong around people like me.

[Doesn't see deer or fly represented on the board, so....Digging out his knife and standing straight, going to the wall and making a cut]
no subject
Not there.
[he says it before Silver can start, and points toward a spot on the bottom left, what looks like feathers]
There.

There's [squints] Three others. But you can probably pass a couple of them. Don't know if they matter to much to you.
