Apparently you were, because you wake up with a start, cheek pressed uncomfortably to steel flooring and flickering lights overhead. Unfortunately, you don't feel very rested at all.

[The door is cold to the touch, almost icy. Nothing replies as you knock.

A cat brushes against your legs as you stand there, contemplating. It looks up at you imploringly, tail lashing.]

[ Pushing the door open cautiously to peek inside, phone out to light things up a bit ]

[It seems very stubborn. If you push hard enough, though, it will slowly creak open, revealing only shadows behind it and a brush of cold sweeps past your face. There’s an indication of stairs going down.

But she's already spent all this time coming up the first set of creepy stairs, so she's not going to let a spooky wind and shadows stop her from checking out whatever's down here. She's keeping her phone out for some light, and listening carefully for any sounds from below ]
