Your sleep is restless, and it's hard to settle as your eyelids refusing to stop twitching, and you can feel an itch at the back of your mind, flashes of uncomfortable thoughts dipping in and out of your dreams, constantly interrupting your tries to relax. ... Are you even asleep?

No feelings in his limbs is going to make this difficult, but some tasks worth doing are hard. Once the cat gets close enough, he tries to grab it with numb fingers since he can't actually feel the creature, but he can hold on tight. It throws him off balance and he probably slips towards the lake the ice cracking.
But he plans to teleport shortly after. Back through the bars to the bottom of the staircase if he is able. If that is too far a distance, the shore will be good enough.]

The statue beside you turns out to not be a statue, but Duality himself, only with his entire left side covered in black jagged spikes, half his face covered with a grim mask with a row of jagged teeth.]

[He shuffles the jacket covered cat into one arm and grabs Duality's wrist. Then he begins to tug him towards the other exit.]

getting there takes you a while though. Duality doesn't follow, but he does watch, silently :(]
