Your sleep is restless, and it's hard to settle as your eyelids refusing to stop twitching, and you can feel an itch at the back of your mind, flashes of uncomfortable thoughts dipping in and out of your dreams, constantly interrupting your tries to relax. ... Are you even asleep?

Apparently you were, because you wake up with a start, cheek pressed uncomfortably to steel flooring and flickering lights overhead. Unfortunately, you don't feel very rested at all.

[ she's not interested in leaving the tiny!duality either. in fact, she's more interested in finding his dad and punching him in the fucken face... but, right now, she'll have to settle for re-bandaging his burns. ]

[ she doesn't drop the smile, but she does whisper, so the others don't overhear, ] I don't know if you, ah, saw the stairwell, but I don't advise jumping off of it... what's down there is bad. I had to check it out though. [ her smile falters a bit as she shrugs. ]

[Glances back at the rest of the party, but also drops a voice to a whisper as he turns back to D.Va.

Also he might be reaching for her arm so he can inspect those injuries.]

A lot. Like, too much. Just thinking about all of it is giving me a headache. [ she shakes her head. ] But I get the feeling that's what must be going on in his head all the time. How he needs to train all the time. Control his powers. Even at such a young age. How he's a [ she sucks in a deep breath. ] a failure. And hadn't been able to save his friends. I saw a lot. I could barely breath the entire time I was in there. Could barely move. It was simultaneously freezing and boiling.

[ moving her other hand to her chest she presses in on it. ] I think I may have a few broken ribs too. Something stabbed me.

You should come back to the FiN dorms with us and see if we can find something there.

I can after I get to that lake. I want to grab some ice. Little guy's got some real bad burns. I bandaged him up, but they should really be taken better care of...

We just don't want to risk the rest of the party doing it.

Just one question. How are you getting out? Door closed behind me and the only other "door" in that weird room was some bars. I considered trying to go through them, but I figured I'd try my luck with the actual door before making my own... [ again. ]
