Heart Game: Hurricane - Run 2
[At first, all is still; all is silent.]
[The only light is the light from your phone, where a checklist has taken over the screen. It reads:]
___ Make a change
___ Repair something
___ Protect something
___ Find the True Heart
___ Survive
[Then the light comes up, bright, and then brighter, and you are in…]

also a lot]
I had noooo idea Hurricane's world and head was so sci-fi.
Re: The Hangar
[The techs are bustling about; they don't seem to have taken notice of him yet]

Re: The Hangar
[The suit next to it is somehow VERY appealing.]
[It's person-sized, sturdy and slim, painted in gleaming shades of white and purple. When the light catches the lines of it, it shimmers like an expensive sports car. The pocket knife that rests on the workbench beside it has a laser-based blade instead of a steel one; the tiny blade glows a muted purple to match the armor. It is a pocket knife, so there is also a laser corkscrew, a laser screwdriver, and a laser toothpick. Maybe don't use that last one.]
Re: The Hangar
Waves his hand to get the lab folks attention, calling out]
Heeeey! I volunteer to test run this one!
Re: The Hangar

Re: The Hangar
[stepping into the dock or whatnot?? sci-fi is not C's genre, so he looks skeptical but ready for whatever]
Re: The Hangar
[While wearing the suit, +2 to any ally combat roll per turn OR -2 to the attack roll of all enemies in the location per turn. +2 to Def, +2 Damage. You now have the ability to fly and have access to comms. You can contact any other player wearing a suit from any location in the heart.]
Re: The Hangar
Ok he doesn't get sci fi but he hella gets video game logic so this is just delightful for him]

Re: The Hangar
But here it is recontextualised for a hero and there's a sense of... Something, welling up inside of him, that he's not sure he can put a name to. Some possible understanding of how he must have felt in that moment, even if he doesn't fully know why. Reaching to put a hand against those gauntlets.]
