Heart Game: Hurricane - Run 2

[At first, all is still; all is silent.]

[The only light is the light from your phone, where a checklist has taken over the screen. It reads:]

[Then the light comes up, bright, and then brighter, and you are in…]

I see. It sounds like a traditional exo-suit with specific upgrades then... I believe I should be able to get the hang of it quickly enough.

This way. I'm pretty pleased with how this one came out.

[He leads you to your suit.]

[It's person-sized, slim but powerful, painted in gleaming shades of black and green. When the light catches the lines of it, it shimmers like an expensive sports car. The twin daggers that rest on the workbench beside it have laser-based blades instead of steel ones, glowing a muted green to match the armor. ]

[The hologram display hovering in the air nearby shows a turnaround of the schematics, underneath a header that reads CODENAME: ROBIN.]

[ Oh. Oh wow.

He's lighting up like a kid at his own birthday party, reaching for the laser daggers right away. LASER! DAGGERS!!! ]

You have really outdone yourselves.

Just step in, then, and the suit will do the rest.

[ Yes yes yes; he's setting the daggers back down before climbing right into the suit, a little cautious since he's not sure what "do the rest" means ]

[The suit accordions up to cover him, the fit snug but comfortable. A HUD overlay appears over the world, with helpful stats like HP. You know that if it's too distracting, though, you can retract your face plate and leave your face uncovered.]

[While wearing the suit, add +2 to all Dex roll results, +1 to Str rolls, and +2 to Def. +2 Damage. You now have the ability to fly and have access to comms. You can contact any other player wearing a suit from any location in the heart.]

[ Once the suit is on, he's picking the daggers back up and bouncing lightly on his toes to test out the feel of it, getting more and more excited by the second ]

This is great.

Do you know where the harbingers are going to attack from? Or what areas need to be defended the most? It'd be a waste to get this gear and not put it to the best use.

They'll come from the sky. All outdoor areas get the brunt of the assault, but they work their way inward when they're done.

I see... So we would be best stationed outside, in that case?

Do they have any known weak points?

They don't, and they'll attempt to alter your mental state.

I highly recommend you don't try to fight them solo. Explore if you want to before then, but it will go better for you if you have someone to get your back.

Everything has a weakness. You simply haven't been able to uncover the harbinger's yet.
