Heart Game: Hurricane - Run 3

[At first, all is still; all is silent.]

[The only light is the light from your phone, where a checklist has taken over the screen. It reads:]

___ Make a change
___ Repair something
___ Protect something
___ Find the True Heart
___ Survive

[Then the light comes up, bright, and then brighter, and you are in…]

[ Looks at him. Looks at the suit. Looks at the blood rain outside at the blood dripping off her-- ]

The nerd guy said I can't wear it if I didn't sink the heart, or whatever.

[ . . . ]

"The people important to him...?"

[ JUST. STARES AT THE COPY OF HERSELF. ]

If it's just to wear, it should be fine, shouldn't it?

[ But he won't force her. ]

I could be wrong, but Hurricane is a kind individual who feels deeply. In his heart, he wouldn't want any of us to be harmed, which goes for these...ghost versions of ourselves. If we can protect them then I think we'll be helping him on some level, even if we've gotten a number of things wrong up to this point.

[ Well she jerks her hand back with a gasp after reaching out to her other!self, tail flicking this way and that anxiously. ]

[ . . .

Her eyes flick from her other self, to C, to the rest of the crowd even if she doesn't recognize them. Then back to her other self.

Fuck. What is she doing? ]

[ She stands up straighter, ears perking back up. ]

Right.

So we just-- get them inside.

[ Waving his hands in front of C's eyes. CAN HE SEE HIM. What if he like. Throws one of the smoke bombs at his feet just to... just to see if it gets a reaction. Which he does.]

Oh--

[ RIGHT UH FOCUS ]

Yes-- I think that would help most. But that's just my own thoughts.

[POOF goes the smoke bomb, blanketing the area in smoke, so that you can't see yourself, or Sabre, or any of the people taking shelter.]

[When the smoke clears, C has disappeared, like the gremlin he is.]

[ Coughing and spluttering for a moment, but at least it knocks her out of her various panics. ]

--What did you do?

[ OOPS. But it... I mean, it's fine it clears rather quickly.

But....! ]

He disappeared...! That's completely in line with C's personality!

[ It was the appropriate reaction! ]
