If you've never been to Mars before, perhaps after the Salon you might travel there, though you'll want a trustworthy guide. Certain parts can be quite dangerous. But a number of powers have colonies there—France, England... and Belgium.

Just be a little cautious with your manners—Martians can be pretty stuck in their ways, and expect that from visitors, too.
I certainly won't turn down an exciting expedition or guide if I manage to get one. The Countess did tell me to be careful regarding manners, too. I'll be extra cautious.
