The Countess prefers to avoid politics and allow for open discourse, so she is of course still invited—after all, she's quite the topic of conversation—but it's probably to become quite dangerous soon.
Well, when you've got a revolution, there's sure to be war soon, after all. And even though they've tried shutting off the city's access to water, she's not bending, and the Grand Army of Free Mars is on the march to assist her. Praanch Vainamoinen even bent the knee to her when she declared independence, saying they'd support her in whatever way they could.
The lanky one who wears full ceremonial armor to these things? That's Vainamoinen, yes.
I'd say it was a bit much, but they've been arrested by the French coming out of one of these salons before, and we've been attacked by pirates and terrorists before, so it's starting to not be a bad precaution. I'll say this: the Countess does keep life exciting, with her eccentricities.

Well, first of all, I don't think she's that sort of priest, and even if she was, she'd probably demand a better caliber of pick-up line.
That's a bit of a surprise to hear, though. She's been rather controversial, as of late.
