You may have saved a few lives, but you can hear voices crying out from the canal for Mother, God, salvation, anyone.
But you saved someone.
The scene fades to black, and you find yourself back outside the room; when you next check, you find you have 3x "the purification of the pruugaa" influence. ]

The water is catching up fast, but thankfully you're up along the slope of the canal, and can easily make it to the door in time, only getting splashed a little as you go—but behind you, you can hear voices crying out in many different languages, calling for Mother, God, salvation, anyone.
