Heart Soldier Senshi
[ Everything fades to black...and you awaken in a car.
You're wearing a time-worn, windblown version of your uniforms, and a newspaper informs you that you are currently in %COUNTRYNAME% in the year %CONTEMPORARY%+1. The newspaper is otherwise actually fairly unhelpful, aside from something detailing the results of a recent attempt at revolt in a city in %COUNTRYNAME%: worker’s success at managing a nearby gold mine led to dreams of every man being a king - the revolutionaries may have been successful had it not been for a concurrent jailbreak and mass slaughter putting local authorities on alert, buying time for military intervention - the town was nearly levelled to the ground, with few survivors.
But you seem to remember - you survived, didn’t you?

MARS
straight into the trash bin. It's so, so cold here. Ice coats all the other garbage alongside you and soon enough it’s coating you, too. It feels like you’re lying there for hours, barely able to move. Only half of an hour in you find yourself unable to speak coherently, mumbling and shivering constantly, and you can only fumble in pain at trying to complete the simplest of tasks. You feel so tired, but you know - you know you can’t fall asleep. The numbness overtakes you, as your extremities begin to blacken and wither. At least the burning cold no longer hurts once it begins to take you, and by the time you pass out it’s almost a relief that nothing has to hurt anymore.
And then you’re back with your unit - the pain doesn’t stop and the cold still bites at you, patches of frostbite still visible on your skin...but. That’s nice, isn’t it? Another chance to be worth something! ]
