POISON GAME: BAD END=DEAD END

[ The room is plain, white walls and white ceiling, except for the steel-panel flooring. There are three metal stands rising out of openings in the floor, each of which carries a glass vial on top. One of them just holds water. Of the remaining two, one contains a pale pink, opaque liquid with a creamy consistency; the next is tinged barely yellow like a weak tea, and would be almost completely transparent but for the pulp and fibers mixed in, drifting through it.

Both have flowers floated across the surface: the first a tiny sprinkling of cherry blossom petals; the second a small, but whole, bloomed lotus. They're cute and smell nice. ]

So anyway, what are we doing here? We sending off an antidote, or are we gonna just smash these things and tell them they can stick their games up their ass?

I mean I'm not against giving that a try. It'll probably suck for us though, and we forfeit the ability to send an antidote to another unit if it works.

[Not being able to give someone else an antidote does kind of give him pause, though.]

Yeah, for us, but I'm not worried about us. If they punish us for breaking rules, whatever, if we're all on board for it.

I'm mostly worried about what if we could prevent something for another team and we give up that chance?

But I don't think the rebel idea is a bad one. Maybe not in this case, but in a situation where we can't mitigate harm too directly anyway, maybe. But if everyone wants to try it now, I won't say no.

Who knows. Not us, obviously, not HSS, not AlcheME. I would estimate maybe Wild City. I doubt Avante or Taisho but I don't know for sure. Zrael is a bit who knows, and I don't know future is now well enough but I don't think they would. SensitIV is hard to say but I don't think they'd want to hurt anyone. And then Pep! Pep! we have no idea how they play.

There's way too many unknowns I guess, is the point. It's not that I think anyone is a jerk, Thorn, but everyone has someone to protect, usually on their own unit, and not everyone on every unit is as willing to go down flipping the hosts off as we are, so playing to protect themselves wouldn't be something I could blame.

Are they? These games are designed to pressure us. I don't agree with what Yasuragi did but I think threatening someone over panicking over hostages, no matter how justified the anger, is just... Playing right into what they're trying to make us do to each other, without really finding a better solution.

I like him a lot but I'm not going to pretend he's not an asshole. But he's a really awkward asshole who sucks as emotions and probably wouldn't defend himself whatever his reasons.
