CAPTIVE GAME: Heart Soldier Senshi & Challah
[ You're in a room with no doors or windows, about the size of a living room. Depending on how many of you are around, it might feel a little cramped. The walls and ceiling are draped with fabrics, the floor covered in colorful rugs and piles of sitting cushions, but you can see the dirt ground and untreated wood walls peeking through in places. There are three or so oil lamps to light the space, each placed on a stump-like round little table that isn't big enough to hold much else. It's kind of cozy, but...
Most of the cushions are embroidered with an array of colors, but there's one pillow in particular, set aside from the rest, that's solid black – King's position color. ]

This is a "game"? Isn't it just a torture competition?
[Then he glances around the room, his eyes passing over Challah without much concern—]

N-no...!

There's nothing to do now but get him back.

We'll figure something out. We have to.
Re: DISCUSSION
They gotta be joking, right?

Re: DISCUSSION
That jerk's your old boyfriend, right? Can't you say something?
Re: DISCUSSION
Yes, but--he didn't... that wasn't like him. You heard how he was referring to himself, didn't you? "Layli?" That's... not any name he's ever called himself by. And--that's not how he smiles, either. Something's very wrong.

Re: DISCUSSION
That little speech at the beginning from the...married couple? And the rules they were given afterwards don't seem to have elucidated much. Her eyes hang on the fact that there's someone...tied up...]
...someone should probably free that person.
Re: DISCUSSION
Who.
Who're you?
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
O-okay, dude. Uh. We'll get you sorted with a name after this, kay? Just - just sit tight.
Re: DISCUSSION
Why is that person over there tied up?
Re: DISCUSSION
It ain't happening.
Re: DISCUSSION
So all of that nonsense about torment and captives was literal. And we're being expected to carry it out.

[She's assuming you're talking about the hostage...]
I'm more concerned with what we're going to do about that now. I'm beginning to think that nonsense I heard about "torment" wasn't just nonsense.
