Izanagi's Ideal World | 8/4
You wake up in a typical Japanese high school classroom to the sound of a bell.
You are dressed in one of two uniforms* (*Please button up your jacket properly!) - whichever your character would feel most comfortable in. The bell was apparently the signal for the end of classes for the day, because everyone else is getting up from their desks and mingling with their friends, making the motions of preparing to leave without quite going yet.
Among them is Izanagi, surrounded by a small group of students and chattering away energetically. There are two exits, one at the front of the room and one at the back, both of which lead to the hallway. On the other hand, if you want to try understanding what you’re doing here, this is probably the best opportunity to talk to Izanagi or talk to your classmates. You can also, of course, find each other and compare notes. There’s a bag hooked on the side of each of your desks, and inside are the typical supplies you would expect most students to carry: writing utensils and notebooks. These can be used, or not, as you please.

Re: Finale - Levi
Re: Finale - Levi
[It's practically a growl.]
There isn't anything worth returning to anyway.
Re: Finale - Levi
None of us would leave you in this state. We need you with us.
Re: Finale - Levi
I'm sure they could do it again.
[Bitterness and hurt swirl under his words.]
Don't try to pretend I'm particularly valuable. Any newcomer to the unit could do exactly what I did. We've had plenty of evidence of that already.
Maybe you'll even be lucky enough to get someone who actually cares.
Re: Finale - Levi
I will not leave you.
You are a person who is irreplaceable to me and the rest of the unit and I care.
Re: Finale - Levi
I don't.
[His voice is cold.]
Not that it was hard to make you all believe I did, big brother.

[ He shakes his hand, hands curled at his sides. His voice remains firm and determined, despite some of the obvious upset. ]
I will not leave this place without you. I will not leave you trapped inside your own mind. You do not deserve an outcome like that. We must return home.
Re: 2/2
[He turns back to the binoculars, sliding a coin in with a click.]
...An existence like mine isn't necessary. No, it's a detriment - to everyone and everything around me.
Let me have a little peace as a human before I'm gone.
Re: 2/2
[ Moving beside him. ]
We're in a unique position to change things while on Imeeji. I despise this place, but once you graduate, we have the ability to accomplish things you wouldn't have been able to at home.
Re: 2/2
Re: 2/2
[ Even Kija has to remind himself of the fact. ]
When you are feeling low or hopeless, the rest of us will help carry you along the way. You are important to me. Even if you have trouble seeing yourself as someone worthy of those feelings, I will remain at your side until the end.
Re: 2/2
[He's firm on this.]
Don't pretend like you understand. You don't get it at all.
[...Is the wind picking up outside? There's a whistle of wind, and the glass in the windows seems to shake every now and then.]
There's nothing to salvage, okay? There isn't any solution. I'm stuck with my lot, and there's no changing that.
Re: 2/2
Hizumi!
[ Gritting his fangs. ]
I am not leaving you. Because I have faith...! Whatever the future holds, we will find a way. Whether it's through graduation or defeating the demons that imprison us... there are so many different kinds of people with powers and abilities beyond our wildest dreams, and yet you are content to simply dream until you lose yourself?
Stop running away.
[ Spoken through frustration and a real sense of anxiousness for him.]
It is not a solution, and I refuse to leave you here to rot within your own mind! I will not abandon you, and I will do everything within my power to help you through the challenges you face!
But this was never going to turn out to be a pleasant dream. This is a false reality, created by the producers to lure you into believing you should stay here and lose the game that our captors are spinning, and using your mind as a tool to accomplish it with.
We can't do anything inside a temporary dream. Wake up and return back to us on SensitIV. I am not leaving without you.
cw: suicidal ideation
[There's real upset in his voice, shaking.]
I can't even care about you. The things I do... anyone else could if they tried.
There's no reason for me to continue to exist. I'm sick and tired of it. So please...
[He's beginning to cry.]
Please, let me rest already...
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
I can't.
[ But he will hold him tightly.]
I cannot because to do so would leave you in this place. Even if you cannot care now, and even if you somehow think you are replaceable, you are not to me.
You deserve to exist. No one can take that right away from you and you are important to me. I will not... I cannot just leave you. Even if you think it is just one-sided, your presence has meant a great deal to me and I will not allow you to think that it could be replicated or replaced by just any person. Because it cannot be.
You matter. And you are my dear and irreplaceable unitmate.
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
When he speaks again, his voice is small and quiet.]
...How can you care so much for someone who's faked everything from the start?
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
We are all of us pretending. To some extent or another, all of us are doing our best and putting on an act. Whether it's to be liked, to protect our hearts, or some other reason...
[ He shakes his head and swallows. ]
That doesn't mean that you are bad. It doesn't mean that you are less deserving of happiness.
[ Not at all. ]
It means you're struggling through something more than what the rest of us can see. You are important to me. And even if everything has been an act up until this point, it doesn't change the fact that I care or make how I feel unreal. The only thing it means is that I have to try better to understand you and listen.
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
There's only one person who can understand. You- or anyone else being able to...
It was impossible from the beginning.
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
I may not be able to understand everything. But you do not have to be alone.
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
Around them, the scenery seems to be beginning to fade away. As one might expect of a dream, after all.]
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
Re: cw: suicidal ideation
It's time to wake up.]
