You are in a dark place. All you can here is ticking for a long, long while.

Then a bright light, a pure white crystal, taller than the dorms itself, appears in front of you. It's voice echoes in your mind.

Hear.... Feel... Think...
A Light there once was that shone throughout this realm... yet it has since grown dim
And as it has faltered so has the Darkness risen up in its stead, presaging an end to life.
For the sake of us all, I beseech thee deliver us from this fate.
If thou would pierce the shadows... make thee a blade of light.
Hold onto it, child.
Return His Dark servants to your realm.
But beware, ever is He trying to grow his power. Do not get caught.

And the light vanishes you find yourself with a crystal in your hand.

Though you are again left in in Darkness before you find yourself in a vast city standing in front of a large teleportation device.

Objectives (if your character can translate Hydaelyn vagueness):
1) Convince both Ascians to leave
2) Don't get tempered :) (or killed if you don't like mind control)

Additionally you may choose EITHER canon or OR imeeji powers to be active. You can wait to decide until you use a power, but once you use a power that powerset is locked in as your choice.

Also if people are in the same area as you feel free to mingle. It is in fact encouraged. Also your phones work only to text and take pictures (basically for the purpose of communicating in case you are in different spots).

[Okay not as planned, which is very odd for Yamato! But he supposes this world must be incomplete. Or maybe it was just being kind and took him to where Lahabrea is rather than where he assumed he'd be.

"Why so impatient? It's been a long time since I've seen you. And full glad am I that you are here, even at this busy time.

But very well. Your residence is registered to mine until you have your own. I was not expecting you to actually arrive until we had dealt with the Final Days."

[Oh- that catches him off guard. He wanted to just come in and demand Lahabrea see reason, but he's soft and it's hard to deny him that? He places his hand over Lahabrea's.]

...Why wouldn't I come before, maybe I can help.

"I had assumed you would spend more time with your family. But your help would be appreciated."

First of all, it will be disgusting, so you don't want that. Second, I'm not here to mess around. We'll both lose track of time far too quickly if we start that.

"What would you hear of? Much you already know. But my research deals much with the Sound, the fear, and summoning."

...I do, but even so. What of fear, I might be best able to help there.

Before he can respond some things happen.

[When the fight is done, he turns back to Lahabrea, still a demon, not concerned with the mess.]

...I suppose you were going to tell me something about visions of fear.

"Yes... Well I believe you saw for yourself. The fear robs some of their control of their Creation magic. The unchecked powers of creation bent to such a destructive emotion as fear--monsters begetting more monsters… I have seen the cities so beset. The creature you fought is one such anomalous Creation."

He gestures to the empty tank and dead monster.

"There was something wrong with that specimen. Something tainted in its birth. If you could not sense it I cannot well explain it, but the existence of innumerable creatures of its ilk is poisoning the land, the air, the waters--across the sea there are zones it is now toxic to enter without due precaution, and the dangers of wandering even while protected are great."

Would finding and destroying these creatures do anything?

Tell me, you believe you've graduated and come home, I suppose? Why come back to this time, why not wish for the proper return of your home, without calamity? Or why not at least give yourself enough time to properly prevent it, before things have come to this point?

"Because this is the best solution. As much as I do wish it were possible to do otherwise, coming back here, before it is too late, we can truly make things right. And we have had time. It is a bit close but we are nearly ready."
