Ascian's Ideal World: First Run

You are in a dark place. All you can here is ticking for a long, long while.

Then a bright light, a pure white crystal, taller than the dorms itself, appears in front of you. It's voice echoes in your mind.

Hear.... Feel... Think...
A Light there once was that shone throughout this realm... yet it has since grown dim
And as it has faltered so has the Darkness risen up in its stead, presaging an end to life.
For the sake of us all, I beseech thee deliver us from this fate.
If thou would pierce the shadows... make thee a blade of light.
Hold onto it, child.
Return His Dark servants to your realm.
But beware, ever is He trying to grow his power. Do not get caught.

And the light vanishes you find yourself with a crystal in your hand.

Though you are again left in in Darkness before you find yourself in a vast city standing in front of a large teleportation device.

Objectives (if your character can translate Hydaelyn vagueness):
1) Convince both Ascians to leave
2) Don't get tempered :) (or killed if you don't like mind control)

Additionally you may choose EITHER canon or OR imeeji powers to be active. You can wait to decide until you use a power, but once you use a power that powerset is locked in as your choice.

Also if people are in the same area as you feel free to mingle. It is in fact encouraged. Also your phones work only to text and take pictures (basically for the purpose of communicating in case you are in different spots).

[ he doesn't want to stop touching Zodiark so he is skewered -- and is actually pinned to the crystal with it. thankfully though, with access to his powers from home it doesn't stop him or even break his concentration. he barely even flinches as the weapon sinks into him and with a twitch of his free hand his own royal weapons are aiming to plunge their way into Emet-Selch's form, with a roll of 3. ]

[Well he's not attacking anyone yet because what in the world is this situation.]

Then he's turning his attention to Lahabrea and...Emet? That's probably Emet? He looks pretty occupied.]

Lahabrea-- what's going on?

[...Y'know he was here expecting a boss fight and technically this is one, but actually he's just going to stand there with his arms crossed and watch for now.]

I've barely even met the other one and he fits right in. It's like an entire guild of darkness-spewing stage players.

I had no idea he was capable of something like this.

If these two kill Absinthe, his corrupting influence might be stymied. And they may as well have their victory.

[Frankly, Cardinal is also ambivalent. But at the end of the day they want to fight Emet-Selch. So they call his name in challenge, and use warp strike to drop down on Emet-Selch from behind, with a 4.]

[The Crystal Exarch's attack grazes Lahabrea, but he twists out of the way, finishing the spell.

[Those of you who gained and wear your crystal accessories will be shielded by a soft purple glow. But the warmth of the crystal fades, and the glow as well, and you know that they will not serve to prevent you from harm a second time. Their power is spent.

Those of you who did not gain a protective charm, or are not being held by one who is like Vergil holds Raven...

Well a nuke just dropped two feet away from you and you had no protection. You aren't dead exactly but you sure are not getting up anytime soon. Though maybe there are still things you can do, or those who can try to heal you as you suffer unimaginable pain, assuming you're even conscious. You will not be able to act or move until aided by others.

Unless you heal at Absinthe's rate.]

[He brings the arm not pinning Absinthe to Zodiark to fend off the royal weapons. Well, the other larger two of his two arms. They sink into it tearing and leaving bloody trails. But that isn't enough to stop his momentum as he begins spell casting.

What he wasn't expecting was the 'Blade of Light' blessed by Hydaelyn to be shot at him from behind. And it pierces through him back to front. And so he drops to the ground in a cloud of purple and black smoke leaving only his staff still pinning Absinthe.

In other words IT IS SUPER EFFECTIVE.]

[ guess who did not gain and or wear a cute crystal accessory. but he does have the advantage of healing; he rolls a 3 on that for healing -- so he's definitely fucked up but the scourge means his healing is keeping him up, keeping him intact as he continues to corrupt the Primal. having Emet-Selch out of the picture definitely helps and now those royal weapons re-materialize, turning on Lahabrea to fire withhh
