[ the guitar is unfortunately made of cardboard. It's only obvious when he goes to check it, so playing it is very much not an option. A TRAGEDY.

But he can find a pen in some cabinet or drawer probably ]

well at least he'll pilfer a pen. he can work on the composition while he goes, it's fine. there's no one here anyways so he'll go over to the other room that's down in the basement ]
