Park
Yvette is wearing a military uniform, and is holding a clipboard.
Re: Park
Is this where the combat training is?
Re: Park
Yvette glances up from her clipboard without the slightest bit of recognition. She looks thoroughly unimpressed, and speaks in an impatient clip:
"You're late. Would you like a lesson or would you like to skip straight to the practical exam?"
[[ Lesson: 1 memory, practical exam roll 6d6 and score 3 or higher 3 times to pass ]]
Re: Park
I think I can pass a practical exam with minimal effort. What's the challenge?
Re: Park
Re: Park
[ And maybe he can knock some of the astroturf over ]
Re: Park
"Very well, whenever you're ready."
[[flavortext for astroturf forthcoming post-sparring]]
Re: Park
[ And eager to make the first move! His style is full of annoying flips and dodge rolls that he especially benefits from thanks to still being a small boy. He's careful to pull any blows that could do actual damage, never using more force than a hard tap at most.
Rolls: 6d6 (3 1 6 4 6 1) ]
Re: Park
Considering the two absolutely perfect direct hits she takes, it's surprising that she's only a little out of breath. She picks up the clipboard and puts a check next to his name.
He passes.
[[ +2 bonus to any rolls related to physical attack, defense or evasion ]]
The tiles of astroturf are easy enough to lift. Scribbled on the concrete floor is a question:
Why are you here?
Your entire left side goes numb for thirty seconds. Just long enough for you to be aware that it has happened.
Then everything returns to normal.

A slight furrowing of his brows at the military uniform before he makes his way over to Yvette]
So what kind of combat training do you offer?
Re: Park
"You're late. You can take lessons in either marksmanship or hand to hand combat, or if you're feeling confident, you can skip straight to the practical exam."
Re: Park
[Huffs]
Whatever.
Marksmanship.

[[ lesson: 1 memory, practical exam: roll 6d6 with a score of 3 or higher 3 times to pass ]]
Re: Park
[How hard can it be really? (Famous last words)]
Re: Park
"Feel free to start whenever you like."
Re: Park
So while only one is really hitting bullseye, and the two that miss -- whew! -- REALLY MISS.
It seems like he does in fact pass]
Re: Park
The information seems to ingrain itself into your mind, and you may find yourself shooting a little better, if you ever decided to try again.
[[ 2+ to dice rolls related to physical attacks, defense and evasion. ]]

Not even out of breath, she grabs her clipboard, makes a note and walks off.
