Hiryuu Ideal World {Session 3}

WELCOME TO IDEAL WORLDS: ANCIENT PSEUDO-KOREAN DRAGON GODS EDITION.

Your character's primary goal will be to convince Hiryuu to leave her ideal world. This is ICly known.

For the bulk of your character's journey (perhaps, even, the entire journey, depending on what they do along the way) your character will not have access to their unit's powerset. Please see the START for more IC information. Depending on how you go about your quest you may or may not encounter dangers or traumas.

Any items that your character had on their person before entering the game will remain with them for the duration of the game! However, all technological items will cease functioning before they leave the start area. Please see the START for more IC information.

In order to provide some guidance, key components / places are bolded, but just because something isn't in bold doesn't mean you can't interact with it. Go wild!

Your channel and ping for the duration of this game are both #/@dragonworld; please join your runner in the chan by typing .iam dragonworld in the roles-assignment channel. [ GRABBING HIM BY THE EAR AND TOWING HIM TO THE THRONE ROOM. ]

Ow-- Hiryuu!

[ How is he supposed to convince you this life is a lie this way ]

[ The interior of the throne room is quite majestic with a red carpet laid out on top of polished marble flooring. At the back of the building there is a raised dias with two large, golden chairs—one obviously bigger and bulkier than the other, but both ornate and made entirely of gold, clearly meant for the King and his Queen. Sitting on these chairs are two individuals that you can only presume are King Il and his wife, Queen Kashi. ]

Well, go tell them.

[ she makes a shooing motion, but she stays waiting. maybe an opportunity will arise here... ]

[puzzlekeeper]

[ He -- pauses, suddenly feeling very small and awkward. Sort of like he did facing his own father.

Except, of course, he hasn't met either of these rulers and barely understands what his relationship to them should be.

So he just inclines his head a little, clearing his throat. ]

Your Majesties, there's something I neglected to mention . . .

[dragonheartedgirl]

[ The Queen says nothing, but King Il smiles cheerfully at you from where he sits on his throne. ]

Welcome, my son! What is it?

[ His greeting is…. Well, it’s friendly enough. But something about it feels off somehow? ]

[puzzlekeeper]

[ He hesitates, brow furrowed, before barreling on.

(Why must he suffer while Intensity gets off scot free?) ]

I've been betrothed this whole time.

[ An awkward pause, because -- well, it hasn't happened yet, but if this is years in the future, then it would have happened, and, ]

--Or rather, already married.

I apologize for not mentioning it before now.

[dragonheartedgirl]

[ Queen Kashi--says nothing. Does nothing. It's almost like... she's not even breathing, she's so still. King Il seems delighted though! ]

Oh, how fortunate! Our oldest son has married. Why, this is cause for a celebration! Min-soo!

[ A servant steps out from the side and approaches the throne somewhat awkwardly (as though his back was hurting him greatly) and goes to the King's side and the two begin to discuss planning a huge banquet. However, as the discussion goes on, your feeling feeling that something is amiss continues to grow. ]

[puzzlekeeper]

[ He stares at the queen for a long enough moment that he almost wishes what the king says.

But once the conversation is in full swing, he turns to Hiryuu. ]

Is your mother feeling alright?

[dragonheartedgirl]

I think so. Why don't you ask?

[puzzlekeeper]

[ Uh,

Well. Sure, why not.

He turns to the Queen specifically this time. ]

Um . . . Your Majesty?

[dragonheartedgirl]

[ Lady Kashi doesn't say anything, but then again--she doesn't have the chance. ]

Don't be so formal, call her Mother.

[ Hiryuu pushes King forward from behind by his shoulders, trying to get him closer to her. ]

[puzzlekeeper]

[ HE'S SWEATING FUCKING BULLETS

He's never had a mother in his life?? What does he do. ]

Uh-- Mother?

[ Lady Kashi wears ornate robes befitting her royal station, and her long, straight black hair is that of a classic beauty’s. Now that you're close up you can see that she's wearing some sort of mask.

There’s still no response. No movement. In fact.... it seems like she's not even breathing? ]

[puzzlekeeper]

[ What the fuck.

Reaching for her shoulder. ]
