Fangs gritting, her scythe whirls to life in her hands, and spinning back, she swings it forward, aiming for her middle (4). ]
[ the scythe thunks into Abel's body (2) but she doesn't even seem to care, eyes curving with the smile she gives at the sight of Kaguya's blood-
grabbing onto the scythe handle to hold it in place against her, Abel grabs onto one of Yuuki's arms by the shoulder with the other to rip it straight from her body (6) ]
But there's little thought as to wonder at her strength. Because all at once Abel reaches for her and she's caught (2) and with a sickening twist she feels bone and muscle snap, flesh rending apart as her left arm is forcibly torn from her body.
Releasing a pained cry she grits her fangs and jumps back, her blood shifting and curling upon itself like electricity at the base of her arm, attempting to heal and regenerate but-- unusually slowed. As though a hunter weapon had clean cut through her arm.
. . . That just goes to show she isn't home.
The blade disappears into nothing but butterflies, but an entire swarm forms to replace it and they descend upon Abel en masse (6). Unlike regular butterflies, these don't drink nectar. They go immediately for her blood. ]
[ Aclima closes her eyes and clasps her hands together in prayer as the butterflies swarm Abel. Abel thrashes at them, trying to wrench them off and swat them out of the air, but she doesn't seem to be making much progress - ]
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
[ - until a bolt of fucking lightning comes down and incinerates them all (6), somehow leaving Abel unscathed in the midst of it. ]
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

The lightning strikes her and flames ignite-- (defend 6) at once she disperses into butterflies and shadows, the mass rolling in on itself painfully before she emerges. She looks a little singed, but...somehow whole.
It looks like what they need to do is stop Aclima from uttering more nonsense. The earth beneath her will begin to crumble and sink (2) with the intent of sinking her beneath the surface like quicksand. ]
[ (6) Aclima rises gracefully to her feet, the earth already solidifying again beneath her before it can even disrupt her steps ]
and the power.
[ black stone-like claws rip through her gloves, and a magically-reinforced grappling hook shoots out through her skirt from her thigh to catch onto Kaguya's throat and hold her in place there as Aclima tries to drive her bladed hand into Kaguya's chest to find her heart (6).
[ it's fine kaguya. she can't even feel it now. she can barely even hear above the blood beating in her ears now-- but she doesn't need to, when she can feel the bloodlust in the air.
she catches the jaws of the demon-wolf mid-lunge (6), using its own momentum to wrestle it to the ground. and with a low growl she uses her grip on its jaws to attempt to twist its head off. though she rolled a crit fail (1) so likely all she'll accomplish is putting her hands in the prime position for Biting. ]
[ well he gets his teeth into her forearms easily enough (4) and a low, guttural yell escapes her throat as she attempts to pry his jaws open by his teeth.
but his jaws are too strong, and somehow the pain of his teeth digging down to her bones pierces through the red. and she slips. and her low yelling turns to a higher pitched cry as fangs start to crunch through bone. (1)
she starts struggling, then. to try to pull away. she manages to pull out at least one arm (6), but it's heavily damaged and the other one... well the other one's probably dog food. ]
[ Marchosias shakes his head from side to side before flinging the arm off across the field. behind him, Aclima studies the mess of ruined flesh in her hand and without even looking up, says, ]

[ and Abel lunges in to grab for her double’s throat, squeezing down with the intent to snap it (4), wearing another twisted smile ]
[ even if she had any time to process the pain and the fact that her other arm was now flung several feet away into the grass, it would be useless to her. pain and blood and anger and vengeance pound over and over in her ears now. she must kill or be killed.
as the other Challah-- Abel-- Ao?-- lunges towards her she drops quickly into a tight crouch, dodging the hand that tries to grab for her throat. (5) from her position below the other fighter she snarls... and then, pushing up with her legs, she lunges right back. her one remaining arm is relatively useless now so she relies on something stronger-- her teeth, and the sheer strength of her jaws as she crunches down on the other Challah's neck. (6) ]
[ Challah’s teeth do find their mark, but Abel, who has two hands still, manages to wedge them in Challah’s mouth and pry her teeth open and off her neck before she can do too much damage (6). she tries to keep pulling enough to straight up break/dislocate her jaw but (2) ]
[ rolls a crit in "dodging" fake-challah's attempts at dislocating her jaw, so guess what those fingers are getting bit. possibly clean off. (6) challah's strength as a genetically modified pet experiment is pretty insane, after all.
but now with her mouth occupied she has no choice but to use her singular torn up arm to try and reach out and tear at the other's throat with her nails, aiming to draw blood. (4) ]
[ Abel’s fingers leak blood into Challah’s mouth at the bite, but Abel just laughs, the sound of it heaving out brokenly through the claws in her neck, and forces her hands in further, as if to choke Challah on them, as if to just shove them down her throat before ripping her face in half ]
[ the scream that rips out of challah's throat is strangled and wet and filled withand a primal rage as her flesh rips, exposing raw muscle and the ivory white of bone.
blinded by pain and panic she falls, unable to react in time to catch herself. so her face meets the ground, and that is where she stays as her one remaining hand claws at the blood saturated dirt. ]
A...o.., [ her voice is somewhere between a growl and a low, desperate whine. help her. ]
There's no avoiding that (3). The grip on her throat is tight and while she squirms, before she can even think to try and dissolve, something solid cuts straight through her chest to connect painfully with her heart.
Her eyes grow wide as it clenches around the organ like a vice and she gasps, blood gurgling in the back of her throat, trickling down the side of her lips. Blindly, in one direction she shoots electricity down the mechanical and bladed hands that leave her suspended in the air (4) in a last-ditch effort to escape. ]
[ a pulse of energy goes through her, sloughing off the electricity like duck off a water's back (6).
she tightens her grip on Kaguya's heart and smiles - giggles, even, unbidden, breathy and a little raspy, a little more Ao-like, the mark on her forehead faintly glowing ]

[ she rips out Kaguya's heart and crushes it in her hand. ]
[ She can't move. She can't breathe. But she can feel the searing pain in her chest. Her choked sounds increase and she clenches her teeth against the feeling of Aclima's fingers clamping down tight on her heart--
She's frozen-- helpless but to watch and listen. Her words could almost sound sweet--
That's when she feels it. White-hot blinding pain engulfs her as her beating heart is torn violently from her body. She screams voicelessly against the fingers wrapped tight around her throat, before all at once her heart bursts as it's crushed in Aclima's palm.
I'm sorry Challah... Ao... She hadn't managed to protect either one of them.
They're her last thoughts before a blanket of darkness consumes her. Like a ragdoll, she falls completely limp in Aclima's grip, her lifeless body dripping blood from where her heart once beat-- now no more than an empty shell.
