[ When you insert the key and open the door, you'll find the room inside looks like the living room of a mansion. There are several doors, but one in particular stands out to you: it is ornately decorated, the very door's wood itself carved beautifully with gold etched in to make luxurious patterns depicting what looks like the sky and the wind blowing through the grasslands. Though the door is closed, you can see through it—as if it's somewhat transparent.

This is your little girl. you couldn't help spoiling her, honestly - after all, she's a noble too, and she should like to become a princess as well. She deserves it! I don't think the martial arts classes are the problem here...

Having the strength and skill to back up a temper is a dangerous state of affairs.

You yourself have both strength and a temper, and yet you haven't gone around beating others in the street.

You trust me more than I do, then. I do not have a choice in having this strength and would divest myself of it if I could.

Then it isn't that she has strength, but that she has the inclination to use it where you lack it.

I do not know if she wished to this! She has yet to answer us if this was her aim!

Stopping her training won't make her any less strong than she is now. We can't bar her from being physically able to do it again.

I am aware, but if she has enough strength to do this is there any purpose in cultivating further? You wish to do things diplomatically and politically, should we not enroll her in classes or tutoring for negotiations?

I'd like her to learn those things as well. And I'd also like her to learn to control herself, and her own strength.

Then we ought to swap the classes out. Whichever branch she is studying right now has certainly done her no favors.

Changing her lessons won't change her disposition.

There are other ways in which she can earn silence from the jeering crowd. She simply needs to have them made available to her.

We need to help her have the common sense not to do things like this.

Common sense is not something that always helps in the heat of the moment.

That's true. But you're saying you want to make her weaker... to take away something from her so she has no choice but to react meekly.

Instead of clipping her wings, I would like her to learn from this, and become the better person.

I do not wish for her to react meekly, but there are ways for her to settle things other than dirtying her hands. She may show them up, disprove them, or strike back with her tongue but I will not approve of her using her fists. Think of her aims! I am not having her tear up her own dreams in a moment of temper!

I don't disagree with that...

So why don't we trust her to understand, and try to explain this to her?

I will speak with her about it, and was planning on doing so. That does not mean we ought to do only that.
