This room is not real.

That's the first thought that crosses your mind as soon as your consciousness comes back up. You're not even sure if that's your own thought, but the feeling doesn't leave no matter how much time has passed. The room looks nice and cozy, but everything feels wrong. You don't belong here, you're you, aren't you?

You'll soon notice that there are other things that just isn't right. You can talk, but is your mouth moving? You can see, but are your eyes blinking? You also have ball joints. Nothing hurts, and you're fine, but it's a little weird.

... Minimal damage to others while protecting ourselves as best as we can is always my preference, but I understand that we can't always achieve that.

Mm. But in this case, 'damaging others' is not necessarily the same as 'trying to win', and neither is necessarily the same as 'protecting ourselves', so I think it may be okay. Commodore mentioned stealing qualities which would discourage other units from playing aggressively. What does Gold-senpai think of stealing something like 'drive' or 'ambition'?

I think that could be a good way to go. I bet some units will still be angry over it, but most people think they have to go hard right out the gate for no reason and if we could temper that down...

Somehow, I'm a little happy. Things may change in the next round, but at least for now, everyone wants the same thing.
