The Last Supper - Pep!Pep! & Heart Soldier Senshi

... And we need to decide who will be... our "heart".

Picking someone that people would be adverse to hitting because of popularity is one option. In that case, Hurricane or I would be the ones to pick from. However, if we do that, then the likelihood of someone going along with the game knowing exactly who to target is very obvious. It's a very risky solution, since Azrael and Wild City are known to play with the intention to win and to protect themselves, respectively.
Alternatively--we could pick someone that is less obvious--not disliked, but simply less well-known. This would allow us to "hide" our hearts from any would-be enemies, and for more visible members to act as decoys, in the hopes that as a whole, even if one or two of us should die, then not all of us will. The risk here is that someone adopting a strategy to not pick an obvious heart might accidentally target our hidden heart. If we go with this method, then... Kitten, or one of you, would be our options I believe.

However, I will not be advocating to make myself the heart. Even if we had to choose between the more popular of us--I would pick Hurricane. I don't think I'll survive this game, and I don't want to take you all with me if I'm targeted.
[ more like. when. SHE'S TOO VISIBLE and also she's done things that have legitimately pissed people off. hurricane is someone people probably unanimously like, unlike her. ]

[ god he doesn't even wanna go into this now ]
... If you believe that's the case, then I support your choice. For the sake of both teams.

anyway, she offers him a wan smile]
If it helps any, I won't do anything to try to make them target me specifically unless you all want me to. But... it's quite possibly inevitable.

Like, for example, if people assume you or Hurricane is the heart and try to avoid you, now they only have a one in four chance of guessing right, instead of one in two.

Ah... I understand your logic, but isn't it also possible that others will follow our exact same logic and decide to target our less visible members anyway?
I guess... what I'm saying is, I don't know if there's a smarter choice we can make here. Just... probably pick from those of us who wouldn't mind playing that role.

Ultimately, this is a game of chance - we may as well treat it as one. I propose those of us willing to become the heart roll for it, with highest roll being the selected.

Alright, sounds good to me. This is how we decided stuff before, too.

I looked at the list of people and I only know a couple of them. Everyone else is a complete mystery to me.

Which unit do you think would be the most understanding that we don't want to hurt them? Or... which unit can fight back the most?
no subject
Boss, on Bad End... once told me in games that "everyone betrays." At the time, he was half out of his mind. However... their team has been in the corner a number of times so they would understand.
AlcheME is also another solid choice. They understand our usual stance of as-little-violence as possible. And I know that if we offer proper recompense after it's over, they'll forgive us.
.... For a unit that would fight back the most... Taisho, avante, and Wild City. I want to attack them all the least, though--for personal reasons.
...
If we wanted to target a team that will mostly be attempting to eliminate teams, though, and aren't afraid of the costs, then Azrael would be the one to choose. No doubt they'll be aiming for hearts. However, we could end up attacking another team by accident, if more than one team went after them. There's also no guaranteeing they won't escalate things and simply attempt to slaughter us all.
[ what a headache. ]

What about bad blood between units? I know you and the goths have had some messy encounters. What about the others?

...On the other hand, if we do target ☆ZRAEL, we'd only have a one in seven chance of accidentally targeting their heart. Even if we do wind up fighting another team, the odds will still be the same. The odds are one in five if we target a less populated team, like alcheME or avante.
