As you near the stage, the Fragments suddenly dip, pointing at an untouched square of stage. Actually, on further examination - there’s a thin line forming a square in the wood, and a hole one might use to stick their fingers into the piece to pull it off.
Pulling off the piece reveals a long metal ladder that extends down into utter darkness. Looks like the stage was hiding a trapdoor all along.
The Fragments are still pointing into the depths of the hole. If tested, the ladder seems secure and sound, even if there’s absolutely no indication to where it might lead.
As you descend into the darkness, you become aware of a consistent, shrill sound... It seems electronic in nature, and it grows louder, though never overpowering as you descend rung by rung.
Eventually your foot meets a tile floor, and you find yourself in a dark hallway. Enough illumination comes from a door at the end of the hallway to see that the walls and flooring all seem to be a sterile white - and whatever’s in the room has got to be the source of the sound. The door is ajar, although there is nothing in particular visible from this part of the hallway.
The Fragments float up again, pointing towards the door.
The heart monitor is flatlining, leaving it droning, a consistent and inescapable whine. Laid in the bed with white sheets drawn over a hospital robe is the thin and pale body of one who you may know better as Izanagi, eyes closed and unmoving.
Oddly enough, the light no longer seems as consistent - in fact, the Fragments are pulsing now, blinking in a steady beat. They seem to be tugging towards the body... and with a soft click, the badge loosens from your clothing, leaving the badge sagging.
It seems it may now be removed, although no matter how it is moved, the Fragments will continue to pull on their chains as they point at the body.
The Fragments continue to pulse, steady and strong, the light growing stronger as they near the body. Once close enough, the Fragments begin to lose their color and shine - but Izanagi’s body gains it instead, skin flushing as the blood flow resumes once more.
Slowly, his eyes open, a glint of gold in the otherwise coldly lit room.
I have some perfume if you need to assert yourself more, also. Or something.
Either way... well, I'm not very good at giving advice. Being stubborn seems to be something you're actually not too bad at. Or else, why keep the body?
...It was almost gone for good. He was very close to giving up.
But the push you provided today... Well, I can't say it'll change things immensely. I don't have that kind of power here. But it should stop him from sinking any further, for the moment.
If I had any more cleaner, I'd see about dousing you with that, too.
It's not that I don't understand the sentiments, but at the same time I don't understand at all. So this is the best solution I have. Words don't mean much of anything if they're said from someone you barely know or understand, right? Anyway, you'll be a lot more effective with this. So speak up a little more.
[He holds out his hands, and two books appear in them: Hizumi's book, and Susanoo's.]
You've already seen these, but now, I can offer an explanation for them. The books in that library contain "His" knowledge and understanding of things.
Of himself. And of others, and his relationship to them.
If you want him to know more... it's possible to give that to him now.

Re: STAGE
hospital settings, tho, pfffff...]

He’s alive.
Re: STAGE
There you are. I was wondering where you were hiding.
Re: STAGE
That was an amusing performance, but killing that man - mm, maybe that's for the better.
Re: STAGE
Re: STAGE
I'd offer to explain, but only if you want to sit through it.
Re: STAGE
Re: STAGE
This is "His" heart - and just like everything else here, I'm just a few pieces of that.
The piece that "believes him to already be dead" and the piece that "wants to be saved despite that."
And, thanks to all of your actions... I'm a little stronger now. He's been trying very hard to bury me for a while, now.

Re: STAGE
-This was for the stage, you know.
[Clearing his throat. Ugh.]
And... there's a way to change that. Knowing and understanding. But I don't know if you would be interested.
