[ As you leave the city, it doesn’t take you long to find the monster they were talking about. It’s all by itself, but it’s more than big enough to be a great threat all on it’s own. It doesn’t seem to have noticed you yet but if you linger here, it’s only a matter of time. ]
[The yellow growths on its body glow and pulse in an unsettling way. The monster sways, eying each and every one of them with a fierce hunger.
It chooses Randy.
With a roar that makes the ground shake lightly beneath you, the monster lunges forward at the nearest fighter. For a moment it seems as though it might have it in mind to simply eat you whole and be done with you. Fortunately, it seems content to settle for just a taste-- sharp teeth piercing your skin in a quick bite.
There’s an unpleasant tingle from it’s saliva. But it’s over so quickly that given time, the sensation will fade. But then again, that’s only a small quantity of it.
[ Really, could anyone blame the monster for wanting to take a bite out of Randy?
Not that Crow is thinking about that. Rather, he's going for a burst of battle aura with AZURE DESTINY, then doing a CRIMINAL EDGE (12+18= 30) and then immediately follows it up with another one (34+61=95). ]
[The monster doesn't particularly like that. It rears it's head back with an ugly roar of pain. And then... it seeks VENGEANCE. It slides forward to choose it's prey--
Ordine.
The large growth at the base of it’s trunk begins to glow brighter. You can feel it pulling you in.
You are sucked through, trapped within the monster’s body. There is a thick, viscous fluid all around you-- and it is slowly draining your strength. Staying here long would be dangerous. But try as you might, you cannot make your body respond.
Which means it falls to your allies to get you out of there as quickly as possible. It can keep him for up to two turns or until at least 500 damage is done to it. ]
[ Time to push himself YET AGAIN even if it mean's he's out next round (3+145+168=316) but it's worth it. Gotta get Randy's friend out of there.
Tio gives it the final push with (131 150=281).
And the monster is forced to release Ordine with a giant high-pitched shriek. He is, unfortunately, still sticky, but he was spared damage. Only trauma... ]
[Well Randy totally fails to dodge, and gets ROOTSTABBED. For however much damage that is, follow your dreams.
In any case, he's got a lot of reach with his stunhalberd, so he's letting out a bloodcurdling WAR CRY (-25hp the madman) and using Crimson Gale (74 + 83 = 157)(tails), then following up with Death Storm (122).
ST. URSULA BYROAD (DANGER)
Re: ST. URSULA BYROAD (DANGER)
it's time to barrel in with CRIMSON GALE (32 + 56 = 88)(tails)]

Re: ST. URSULA BYROAD (DANGER)
Tio follows up with ABSOLUTE ZERO (48+97=145). ]
BOSS' TURN

(7+13=20 damage).]
Re: BOSS' TURN
not letting that slow him down, though, going for a BURNING DIVIDER (heads) as it pulls back.]

Anyway Lloyd is out until next turn. But Tio can act, and she will-- (118+141=259). ]

Tio -- (115+118=233) is doing great even without accounting for Lloyd's bonus. ]

Re: BOSS' TURN
But this time it strikes back in turn-- not in the way you'd immediately expect. Roots will shoot up from the ground, attempting to pierce them.
Whether you can evade them or not, with it's roots all tied up in trying to attack you, you will have your opportunity to strike back. ]

Oh right he's kind of a berserker, huh?]

Re: BOSS' TURN
Lloyd gets rootstabbed but Tio is way too cool for that and stays just out of reach. But both have time to put out some attacks.
(99 + 99 + 104 = 302) for Lloyd's Burning Heart and (14 + 123 = 137) for Tio's Absolute Zero! ]
