Good Cause Simulator: avante en garde (saturday)
[ You’re in a sleek room full of all kinds of sci-fi dials and knobs. You feel like you’ve been here a long time with these people around you, and that you have a lot longer to go before this is all over.
You can hear the distant sounds of the station creaking due to shockwaves from the fighting outside. What is going on in this galaxy? Well, it’s not very important to you. What’s important is surviving.
You have a job to do. ]

And if they don't wanna behave, we crush'em.
Re: DISCUSSION
Why are you even talking to me? You've all clearly already decided, anyway.
Re: DISCUSSION

I think that if we take a more cautious route to begin with, we can watch how the dice fall, and if it isn't favorable, take your much more direct approach next.

[Sry, she's flouncing, crossing the room and putting her back to the rest of them to stare out the window instead.]

Kohime-senpai...?
Re: DISCUSSION
What do you want.
[It's technically a question but the phrasing is flat.]
Re: DISCUSSION
[ . . . ]
I realize in a moment like this that I am deeply in over my head, and am nothing but a novice. I am afraid of making a mistake, too. I don't want to be responsible for out unit being hurt. I can only offer what I think, but I don't have the experience to back my thoughts up.
. . . I know that you have fought your way through many battles in this place. And you have the heart of a fierce warrior.
If possible, I would like to listen and learn from your own experience. I know that I can learn from you.
Re: DISCUSSION
It's not going to be your fault if Avante dies.
Re: DISCUSSION
. . . What pitfalls should we avoid? What is it that we should do to avoid ruin? None of these paths are clear to me.
Re: DISCUSSION
It's the people who think it's more important to try and "save everyone" -- which never works -- or who just want to feel superior because they followed some 'morality' thing, and they sacrifice the team for it -- that's who's gonna get us killed.

Re: DISCUSSION
The rest of us totally ate shit until a prison riot, so. We can still turn it around if we fuck up early on.
[A pause.]
I'm willing to go as hard as I need to so you don't die in space again.

Re: DISCUSSION
Don't touch me! You don't get to ignore what I think and just pretend to care when it's easy and convenient!
Re: DISCUSSION
I do care. I know what you're saying - go aggressive and take two birds with one stone. We're still taking the merchant supplies, but one ship can't fit a whole colony. That's why we're building up our reputation instead. We'll have people who actually intimidate the others now.
Re: DISCUSSION
What part of "murdered in space" was so hard for you to understand? I don't want to join one of these cult things, it didn't exactly work out for me last time!
