With all due respect, whether or not you are capable of playing has nothing to do with whether or not you require comfort. One does not preclude the other, and you are entitled to be as comfortable as you can be in such trying times.

Is it really for your own benefit? Do you do it for power, for glory, for control? There are those here who do - do you believe your desires to be inferior to theirs? Furthermore - to not fight is to die. We were not given life so that we may squander it. Do you mourn when you consume another living thing for sustenance?

And in the end, even the most brutal and vile tyrant is deserving of mercy. Life was not created so that it could go without being loved, for creation itself is an act of love.

[That's so many words. He's already very distracted, for obvious reasons, so it's honestly a bit hard for him to process all of that properly.]

It's- it's for my "benefit", because I'm doing something very, very selfish, that nobody else wants. And I'm going to "squander" what's been given to me at a price paid by someone else, which isn't... right. I don't want to think that's right. I don't want to tell myself "it's alright" and run away, I don't... deserve that comfort.
