20k Leagues Under the Sea: Avante

[The elevator deposits you in the interior of a spacious submersible with a decidedly steampunk aesthetic. All of the metal is brushed bronze, and the navigation tools look to be turn of the century]
[Through the periscope, you can still see the sky; the water visible through the circular windows is a pale blue-green, kissed by filtering sunlight]

Re: ROUND 1 DISCUSSION
I suppose... I am attempting to figure out what the incentive is for us to move forward. Knowledge? Something important to us here? Outside of the fact that we might earn a revive of some sort. That already presents us with the fact that there may be danger, but if that's the case... we should be able to pull out if necessary.
I admit I am not keen on being hurt, but I am somewhat intrigued by the fact that this option is offered at all. And to what purpose if we can pull back at any time.
Re: ROUND 1 DISCUSSION
If we do this, we would be best served by committing in the entirety: to take the safety we've been offered, or to continue to the bitter end.

[ Or maybe he's overthinking it? ]
I'm not sure that I see a reason as it stands for risking our lives unless there's something that would be of great use to us in the future on the other end. And we have no way of knowing if there is.
