COOKING SHOW - 5PM PST - pep!pep!
[ Your unit-colored kitchen has all the basic necessities for cooking, but strangely, there's no refrigerator. There's just a table full of pebble-sized crystals. . . There are candies available in bins next to the crystals as well.
Though you can technically turn the stove on, you can't actually hurt yourself on it. It's like the flames are illusions. Huh.
Upon entering your unit-colored kitchen, you'll find that you can't see or hear anyone from any other kitchen. You're aware that this whole area is magically sight- and sound-proofed; no other unit will hear or see any conversation you have. ]

Re: Sour
...Unless you want to be coddled, in which case I totally will. Just watch me. I'll do it.
Re: Sour
I never really thought ya did anything unreasonable then, though. It's not like we actually literally meant nobody would get revived. I mean, I do kinda regret how people took it, but.. [shrug] it still feels like a them problem when I think about where we're at now bein' exactly what I thought it'd be then...
Re: Sour
It really is, isn't it. I guess it was inevitable at some point, though.
[A little defeated, deep down. A little bitter. Mostly kind of resigned.]
I still wish I'd cooled my jets a little back then. I think that's been one of my biggest regrets since getting here.
[Just goes to show that anger is the worst emotion!! Better to never have it. Yeet anger from your library of feelings]
Re: Sour
Mm, I'd put how people've acted about it at the top of my list of regrets.

Re: Sour
The only thing you can control is the part you had agency over. Their reaction is out of your hands at that point.
Re: Sour
Mostly I think about how like, people got so wound up about us and it was pretty disconnected from how the people on this team actually are, ya know?
Re: Sour
I guess a lot of things boiled down to, nobody knew each other very well and we all came to some hasty conclusions about each other, on both sides.
I think for the most part our reputation has generally healed since then, but... man, I dunno. The number of times this has kept coming back up, even after all this time, makes me think it hasn't quite... become water under the bridge for some.
