COOKING SHOW - 5PM PST - Heart Soldier Senshi
[ Your unit-colored kitchen has all the basic necessities for cooking, but strangely, there's no refrigerator. There's just a table full of pebble-sized crystals. . . There are candies available in bins next to the crystals as well.
Though you can technically turn the stove on, you can't actually hurt yourself on it. It's like the flames are illusions. Huh.
Upon entering your unit-colored kitchen, you'll find that you can't see or hear anyone from any other kitchen. You're aware that this whole area is magically sight- and sound-proofed; no other unit will hear or see any conversation you have. ]

Re: Sweet
Cheers.
[Knocks it against his own, and then unwraps and eats.]
Re: Sweet
[It's a lot]
[It starts out with an aching, endless, empty sort of despair. It's like the very bottom of the world's largest barrel of hope has been scraped clean until everything is gone, and then all the wood from the barrel is peeled away, and there's nothing left. There's nothing left]
[But as the memory goes on, that bottomless pit of nothing begins to fill. It's a numb sort of disbelief, at first - and then the beginnings of what might dare to be hope. And then hope itself, painful after such a long absence, along with abject terror that the hope might be mistaken]
[And then, finally, the promised ingredient]
[The joy is crushing in its intensity; it swallows up everything until it's hard to breathe. The tears are tears of happiness, and of relief, all of it so sharp and immediate that it eclipses everything else in the world]
[Please hold, he is going to need a minute, actually,]
Re: Sweet
What...
[That was a game, wasn't it?
[That was after a game.]
Hurricane? What happened?
Re: Sweet
[Instead, he covers his face with his hands. Whatever it was, his feelings are all over the place, about as out of sorts as they were during the memory itself]
Re: Sweet
[She puts a hand on his shoulder, cautiously.]
It's - whatever it is, it's finished.
Re: Sweet
[His voice is shaky]
That's - [His laugh is shaky, too] Sorry. You shouldn't've had to see that.
