COOKING SHOW - 5PM PST - avante en garde
[ Your unit-colored kitchen has all the basic necessities for cooking, but strangely, there's no refrigerator. There's just a table full of pebble-sized crystals. . . There are candies available in bins next to the crystals as well.
Though you can technically turn the stove on, you can't actually hurt yourself on it. It's like the flames are illusions. Huh.
Upon entering your unit-colored kitchen, you'll find that you can't see or hear anyone from any other kitchen. You're aware that this whole area is magically sight- and sound-proofed; no other unit will hear or see any conversation you have. ]

That is... perhaps it would be easier for those of us who have not... struggled through actual war or loss, that we know of, tackle some of the more heavy ingredients? That isn't to make light of any one person's past memories or experiences here. But would volunteering help?
Otherwise... I suppose we could all simply...draw? And make sure that no one person gets stuck with two of the same if it falls in a troublesome category.

That's sweet, but not necessary for me. I can do bitter and savory.

Does it count for more or less, do you think, by telling it versus showing it?
If we lose, will this be a case of other units witnessing our memories? Do you think? What I mean to ask, is do you think we would gain more credibility by showing a memory instead of opting to merely tell it?

[then, careful]
Everybody'll have to throw in at least one, right? So may as well have everybody pick one... 'Case there's something people actually want to share.

[ He can talk to you about Ken all day. ]
It is likely harder to get volunteers for the others. Though I don't mind taking one for the team.

I don't mind sharing whatever is needed, as long as you all can bear to hear it.
[ a brief glance in the direction of
HirotoHades ]I have never been the kind to hide any part of myself, for good or ill.

As a unit, I think accepting our pasts is also part of moving forward and growing. And so I, for one, will accept whatever I see or witness without judgment.
no subject
What if I want your judgment, though? What better reason is there to improve, than for the sake of those we care for?
...But you're right: It really would be nice if this were a kind of opportunity for us.

I suppose... knowing there are others that might judge us can lead to working on improving ourselves. But they aren't always our proudest moments.
