I went through the kitchen behind the stairs. It was just full of junk and this big fucking sword. Could always give it another look, I guess.

Anything special about the sword? I suppose we could go look in case something was missed.

. . . I suppose the others went upstairs, though.

It was the only sharp thing in the kitchen. And it was long, I mean really fucking long. Like from here to there.

[points to about 20 feet away]

Eh... I thought maybe we could steal that too. But unless we can find AlcheME that probably isn't going to happen.

Well, if you're looking for something to steal, it was full of shit you could take. There were these...glass bottle things. Could use 'em to take some of the weird water with you.

[ Reaching into her purse to show him a bottle of some sort of green liquid. ]

We did that with the drinks here. Though I wonder if that water wouldn't just dissolve things. It's something to consider, anyway.

[ Hmm. ]

Maybe that wouldn't be bad as a defense though? If we have to fight some creepy thing and we throw water on it that can make it dissolve, that would surely deter it I think.

What do you think you'd like to do?

Ehh... that sounds sort of dangerous, but I guess that could be an even more dangerous weapon.

Why not? It's that or take a look upstairs.

Let's do that first, and then head on upstairs then. I'll pour a glass bottle from the empty bottles I found behind the bar.

[ And pouring another mug in. ]

We're only allowed to mix them if we can make sure we're out of the contamination zone if it turns out to create a gas or a splash. We don't exactly have safety gear to protect us against whatever it turns into, after all.

I'm going to pour another one of those mugs into one of the bottles behind the bar. And then... we throw it into the room from a distance and see what happens.

If we're going to do that, I say have Ren do it since she can speed herself up to make sure she's behind the wall in time to avoid anything. Though, even if that happens, if it causes fumes and spreads too much we might still be screwed, since it sounds like it's acidic enough to dissolve us if it gets in the air.

. . . I don't really like the idea of Ren doing it.

That would be the safest way, and there's still a chance it will literally blow up in our faces.

Your vision's all messed up from a simple drink - I don't think combining that and an acid bath is going to have a favorable outcome, if I'm being honest.
