I've been reading the books starting from the beginning. It is all her thoughts and feelings, and fairly cohesive so nothing particularly stands out against the rest. It seems more and more that she truly does want some sort of essay.
It seemed to me some sort of concern for whether she has been "just", or some such thing. I suppose the preferred topic might become more apparent with more reading.
