So? Do you need to like or respect other vampires to be proud of being one yourself? You can despise them, even look to eradicate them completely if you want. I think we both would count as people. But otherwise you are correct. I suppose half-demon is rather close to a vampire, easily mistaken as human, nearly human, yet distinctly not. When you say "people" think they should be responsible for you then, do you mean humans?
