The liklihood we have become liars or followers is slim but existent. Gathering information on who was likely to be the theif and whose role they took is our best chance of figuring out what we are. If we had our role altered by the drunk, there is absolutely no telling. It may be best to be honest, still, simply going by the low chance that we have become Liars or aligned with them.

Do you want to try to figure it out, first? If we announce who we were and that we were swapped, and then someone can figure out we swapped with a Liar, we'll be in trouble.

Claim to be the villager. It gives us an easy solid claim to not having a night action, and not knowing what happened through the night. It also is not entirely false, though it is less likely to flush out information from others as claiming to be the troublemaker would— if we do that, it would almost certainly flush them out and we could find whose role they gave us.

But we don't know if it was the troublemaker or the thief, right? Maybe just claiming to be a villager is the best plan... whoever took our role might announce it, if not right away, then to avoid execution at some point.

It's a defensive play, and is not likely to give us much information. It is also a play that will back AlcheME's claims, as Azrael says the villager is out of play. Still, I will say it for now.

Yes. Unless another reveals to be the villager, it will not put Azrael's claims at risk.

It's a bit helpful, actually... if someone else claims they're a villager, they're probably telling the truth. I don't think anyone else would use that as their lie when we've already said we're the only villager there is.

Yes. Though I have a feeling it may simply be putting off the villager from confessing, now. At least we have revealed the truth of the matter, with time running short.
