Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.

We don't have full treatment facilities here, but I'm working with some of the members of another unit to establish healthcare for those of us with Oripathy—I don't want to break patient confidentiality by saying who, but you and I aren't the only ones.

They say that when Sarkaz die, our memories are retained by the originium in our body. It all returns to Terra. That's why we witness the dead, or have those big funeral processions when things are peaceful enough to put together a ritual like that - so someone remembers them. Because if someone does, everyone does. It's why everyone who met her Majesty knew who she was, and everyone who sees you and knew her would know who you are.

So, don't get me wrong. I don't care that much about traditions or rituals in general. A lot of that stuff's why Kazdel's the way it is. Why Terra's the way it is. But when it comes to respecting people's memories? That's important. When you witness someone, you're promising to remember them, so they never fade. When you take up their blade, though? The most important thing they left behind, the physical record of their final moments, of the things they faced before they died?

You're promising to carry those memories. Everything they were, you'll become. That's what it means.
