[ The elevator opens up to a room spacious enough to house the whole unit comfortably, but with no furniture to speak of except a touchscreen podium near the far wall, displaying a row of four larger-than-life mahjong tiles on a red background. On the left side of the screen is a square that says TRADE. The walls and floor of the room are nearly checkered with metal panels, out of place against the rest of the marble flooring and unremarkable off-white walls.

[you're all smol, so it's probably helpful that Ace fell to his knees right after, sort of clutching at his face, but also trying not to get his fingers in the wounds, but also smearing blood around...]

[Snaps, tugging Ace's hands away to press their folded cape to the holes. Their hands are shaking.]

[Just going to shove Nemesis's coat under his head.]

[he lets Cardigan push him down to the floor, managing a shaky little laugh]

We'll fix it after the game. Try to think of something nice in the mean time.

[After trying to get into a good position to keep pressure on Ace's face, they finally just pull his head into their lap. Much easier. They keep flicking their gaze down to him, their whole body tensed as they wait for the bleed through.]

[Ace quiets down once he's settled, his breathing a little raggedy. He doesn't seem to be paying attention to the discussion. Thinking of something nice, maybe? Though this is probably the first time he hasn't even a tiny smile on his face]

[just stands there dumbly for a few beats until Cardigan speaks, quickly ripping up her shirt to wad into bandages to pack the wounds]

--Coat's too thick. S-stick this in there, hold it tight.

[the moment he feels something nearing his face again he jerks away, pushing in the direction of whatever it is with bloody hands]

[her tone is more or less even as she pushes back, though higher-pitched than usual]

Hey--don't. You have to apply pressure or you'll bleed out, and that's not okay!

Ehhhh... Were you a doctor all along??

[somehow he's still managing a little smile, though he's stopped fighting and is letting Cardigan just push him around and letting Nemesis shove cloth in his eye sockets]

[snorts, which is closer to a normal reaction though her hand shakes]

Yeah, that's me, everyone's favorite healthcare provider. It's the bedside manner that makes the difference. --Say something if you're going into shock, I guess.

[between the three of you he's now on the floor, with his head in Cardigan's lap and fabric pressing down over his eyes]

I dunno... If you start freaking out or hyperventilating? I think you're supposed to elevate your feet or something? Memory's kinda shitty right now.
