[ The elevator opens up to a room spacious enough to house the whole unit comfortably, but with no furniture to speak of except a touchscreen podium near the far wall, displaying a row of four larger-than-life mahjong tiles on a red background. On the left side of the screen is a square that says TRADE. The walls and floor of the room are nearly checkered with metal panels, out of place against the rest of the marble flooring and unremarkable off-white walls.

[Timing about what? Whatever, moving on]
I think we should go middle. No-one is going to choose high damage. [hmm] I'd like to trade just to see the variety. Thoughts?

. . . No, that's not quite right. That's not the end of it at all - the hand squeezes down, digits tightening mechanically with a whir, until it's painful, and even then it doesn't stop. Are you panicked yet? Even if you are, the appendage's grip is far too tight to escape from, and will likely only cause you more pain. Then again, how much more painful could you make the experience of getting your joint crushed?
The bones crack under the hand's unforgiving grip, digits pressing harder and harder until your joint is nothing but bone splinters digging into arteries and nerves. Thankfully, that appears to be as far as the punishment goes - the hand releases you, leaving a comically deep handprint against your skin, as every metal appendage disappears back underneath the panels. ]
