[Nyx was just peacefully enjoying the scenery in silence for a long while, staring out the window.

Then, without any warning whatsoever, he sits back properly in his seat, rolls up his sleeves, and starts removing the bandages on his arms. Then also his legs. Also getting increasingly, progressively clumsy and frantic about it over the course of a few minutes?? Hm. Surely this isn't going anywhere dangerous or bloody at all.]

[ childe is just kind of driving! probably shouting at lucifel, because he's too stupid to realize he's gone deaf. surely if he shouts loud enough he'll hear him. eventually he hears a bit of commotion coming from the back, so he slows down to look over his shoulder. ]

Nyx? [ and it's his turn to hit the brakes. ] Nyx, what are you doing?

[Nyx doesn't appear to be listening to that at all? Or reacting to it at all? He might as well be deaf with how he completely ignores the car stopping and such to continue tearing at his own skin. Too bad his nails were getting a bit long, huh.

When and only when Tartaglia physically grabs his wrist, he seems to come to his senses. Though, it's a beat after he first tries to wrench them away with more strength than one might expect from a tiny noodle.]

[He is now mittened with bandages?? There are plenty of those to go around, what with the surgery kit and ... all the bandages Nyx had all the way up his arms and legs.]

[He'll awkwardly obey to move up to the front, though. Sandwiched bb of shame. At least he doesn't seem TOO bothered by the pain, beyond the briefest of winces while he gets settled in.]

[Nyx is now mildly panicked either because of trauma or because he's bi. Maybe both. Maybe this is that "misattribution of arousal" thing, even if they're not crossing over any bridges right now.]
