HEART SOLDIER SENSHI

[you find yourself in this derelict village, with not a soul to be seen—but before you is this station wagon:

for all intents and purposes, this baby is a simple "honk, steer, pedal to go, brakes to stop" vehicle that anyone with opposable thumbs can drive. despite its age, it does have a handy GPS system that displays paths you can take, but fails to identify anything like landmarks or other worldly features. last but not least: its paint job is done in your unit's color!

The following can be found in the trunk/dashboard:
• Icepicks
• These 5 Bone Saws
• A surgical set
• A single miniature of 99 Bananas
• one large first aid kit containing nothing but bandages and bandaids]

THE CABIN
The path you've chosen leads you to a blocked road, with a sign that reads "You can rest in the cabin for the night, this will be cleared by the morning!" Indeed, there is a cabin not far off. If you refuse to enter the cabin and remain in the car, you will find that time isn't moving at all for you or anyone. It seems that the cabin is a required pit stop.

EVENT: Within the cabin is a large kotatsu, heated up and surrounded with comfortable cushions. Regardless of your interest in sitting at it, one of you are strangely compelled to sit at it no matter what. In a short amount of time, everyone will get the feeling that it's time to leave... but the person driven to sit at the kotatsu will find that their legs have melted together, from the inner thighs down to their ankles. Moving will be very, very, difficult. And painful.

(Everyone can sit at the kotatsu, but only one person will get fucked up by it.)

I'm not cold anymore, at the very least.

I can feel the cold from outside practically melting away.

A shame they don't seem to have any supplies for making warm beverages.

I hope there are at least medical supplies.

[He's worried about his sister's eye more than being warm. He's quite warm here under the kotatsu.]

Has the bleeding slowed?

If it has, we might be able to use the bandages to fashion a makeshift eyepatch for the moment.

[Still not making any moves to get up because he just wants to snuggle with his sister a while in the warmth.]

At least... at least it's warmer here.

[If she'd just been that one bit faster, she's thinking. Moved a fraction quicker...

[And yet, if she had been, what might that have meant for Alphinaud? Surely it's better that it's her in that position, not him. If she had been quicker, and he had suffered instead - how much better would she truly be feeling?]

[ Why would anyone in their right mind not take the cabin?! Especially when it's so cold outside.

Zhongli parks as close as he can get to the front door (less walking) before leading/carrying/dragging everyone inside and curling up on one of the kotatsu cushions with Hurricane tucked against his side like a dragon greedily hoarding their treasure. As he miserably shivers even though it's toasty as a summer day in this room.

The twins are of course welcome to join.

But only if they are warm. ]

Zhongli and Hurricane will find themselves affected much more by the freezing temperatures. Please OOCly pick one from the following:

Hypothermia: you're freezing, and if you don't get body heat now (or through the night) from at least one other person, you get the feeling you won't make it through the night.

Frostbite: one part of your body (a finger, a hand, a foot, a limb, a patch of skin, ANYTHING) is being consumed by numbing frostbite. If someone doesn't help you remove it stat, you will not make it through the night.
