Tsukiakari's Ideal world

[ When you come to, you find yourself inside some sort of theater. There are no seats, but the stage in front of you is lit up. Though the background that’s been put there is most definitely fake, the light of the moon, the movement of the trees and the petals scattered in the wind seem incredibly real, so much so that it’s easy to question whether it truly is background or not.

You feel sleepy, still, but you’ve been slumbering for far too long and something inside you is telling you to get up. Go out. You have to wake up. There are tears running down your face, but you might be too distracted to notice them, because soon enough you hear music coming from somewhere.

For a moment, at the center of the stage you can see a shadowy figure dancing under the moonlight. As it fades away, unmistakable, you can hear Tsukiakari’s narrating voice. ]

"You were born with a face fairer than any other.
You were divinely created, but you were cast aside like worthless dross."

"You are a failure. Too fragile to be a tool or a human. But this is a story after all, and you’re the one who will choose the way it unfolds. Write it all from scratch or stick to the script - it's up to you after all."

[He closes his eyes and imagines them anyway.]

But they are real, are they not? Distant lands. Worlds untold. You've learned that much from the Production. Perhaps you were simply not made for the one you were born on.

Or are simply in love with that star you were born. Scornful of the truths under the skin. That beauty. That endless paradise shattered.

I wonder at times if you are as sentimental as I am.

[ The stars do light up as he imagines again, but they do look different from before - as Emet talks, they light up in different colors and patterns, other worlds, perhaps, nothing like what Scaramouche is used to see in Teyvat ]

"Or perhaps, this has all been just a little experiment into human nature. Maybe I only wanted to see how far people would go"

Can it not be both?

[ This time, rather than speak to him in his head, he will appear next to him - just as Zhongli asks for his presence up to you if he overhears their thread or not ]

I can't be sentimental.

I don't have a heart.

[He is still lying on the ground with this eyes closed patting the spot next to him.]

Would you like me to prove or disprove that?

No.

I should take away your eyes for even suggesting that.

[ But he doesn't, and instead just disappears again. Even though Emet's eyes are closed and he's not looking at the planet, he will feel a surge of anger, strong enough to almost make him forget who he is ]

[He laughs and laughs and laughs.]

It is ugly. Feeble. Frail. Weak. Foolish. Enough to turn your stomach at the sight of it.

[He lets the anger seep in and while he forgets the edges, he has spent far too long holding onto himself that it becomes a habit. Even if he forgets at times why he does.]

You should take them. These eyes. Maybe they will show you a different answer. Or reaffirm my own.

[Moon is great. He's still going to lie here.]

[ Good news for emet, his eyes aren't gone at the suggestion. But the moon feels a little warmer, and the eyes from the doll he took do change - from the purple of Tsukiakari's eyes, to Emet's gold. ]

He observed many a heart,
Good ones, upright ones, strong ones, gentle ones...
The puppet, too, desired a heart.

Later, the lovely puppet would finally obtain that "heart."
It was, after all, his purpose for being, the very reason he existed.
Yet, it was not what the puppet truly desired,
For it did not contain any blessings,
But was instead a sacrifice brimming with selfishness, hypocrisy, cunning and curses,
All wrapped in an amiable husk.

Good and evil were the song of sentient life, useless and cacophonous.
But if he were to wrench this "heart" out,
He would no longer be able to feel anything at all...

[ once again, though the voice is Scaramouche's, this time, he's clearly narrating once more. And just as he does a portal appears for Emet. ]
