Tsukiakari's Ideal world

[ When you come to, you find yourself inside some sort of theater. There are no seats, but the stage in front of you is lit up. Though the background that’s been put there is most definitely fake, the light of the moon, the movement of the trees and the petals scattered in the wind seem incredibly real, so much so that it’s easy to question whether it truly is background or not.

You feel sleepy, still, but you’ve been slumbering for far too long and something inside you is telling you to get up. Go out. You have to wake up. There are tears running down your face, but you might be too distracted to notice them, because soon enough you hear music coming from somewhere.

For a moment, at the center of the stage you can see a shadowy figure dancing under the moonlight. As it fades away, unmistakable, you can hear Tsukiakari’s narrating voice. ]

"You were born with a face fairer than any other.
You were divinely created, but you were cast aside like worthless dross."

"You are a failure. Too fragile to be a tool or a human. But this is a story after all, and you’re the one who will choose the way it unfolds. Write it all from scratch or stick to the script - it's up to you after all."

And no place to call home.

In the end, that answer he must find himself, but having others around to show him different paths would not go amiss.

I agree.

But his soul is not yet ready to entertain even the thoughts of happiness or peace.

Something of smaller scale then.

I seek to provide a place for him to come into his own. Whatever choice he decides. A place where he feels safe or at least not constantly looking over his shoulder.

Have you other suggestions?

Perhaps a chance to converse with those that he had no chance to before. In the space and security of his own mind.

The person who created him then.

As an Archon, I am not in a position that he would ever trust me. Nor do I want to be held in such regard.

But also as an Archon, I can facilitate such a meeting.

The rest would be up to him. In the shelter that you and others provide.

This is a making of his mind, correct?

[He folds his arms and thinks.]

I don't believe now might be the right time even if it is convenient.

Raw are still the wounds of his creation, of his death, of all that he wrought.

I imagine he'd only hear the answers that would anger him further especially from that one.

Have you not lied to yourself over and over again throughout the years?

I would not discount your tactic. It might be a good one. But I do worry for him. I've grown rather fond of him. A failing of mine.

I am not romantically inclined if that was your worry.

But I see a lot of myself and Absinthe in him. Sometimes all one needs is an outstretched hand even if they do not take it.

I did not mean it romantically nor it is my place to prohibit others from pursuing their own interests.

But perhaps that is all that needs.

A chance.

He might thrive with it or burn into ashes.

But I would make at least that chance for him.

[He laughs.]

Trial and error. I have tried before, and I do not expend effort if I know it will fail a second time.

Good luck to you as well, Zhongli. You do not have to carry this burden as well.

It is little effort for me to reach out my own hand once. After that, we shall just see what fate has in store for us.
