[ When you come to, you find yourself inside some sort of theater. There are no seats, but the stage in front of you is lit up. Though the background that’s been put there is most definitely fake, the light of the moon, the movement of the trees and the petals scattered in the wind seem incredibly real, so much so that it’s easy to question whether it truly is background or not.

You feel sleepy, still, but you’ve been slumbering for far too long and something inside you is telling you to get up. Go out. You have to wake up. There are tears running down your face, but you might be too distracted to notice them, because soon enough you hear music coming from somewhere.

For a moment, at the center of the stage you can see a shadowy figure dancing under the moonlight. As it fades away, unmistakable, you can hear Tsukiakari’s narrating voice. ]

I want revenge too, but it's hard to completely discredit the asshole I hate because without him I would not exist. Do you think not existing would have been better? Have you not had a few fleeting moments of your own that you've enjoyed over the years?

You seemed to like putting on that show for your friend and all of BARiTONES...

I'd like to ask you something. You already penned your story and you were interested in seeing if there were other outcomes. Knowing what you know now what other kind of outcome would you like to see? Can you show me that?

I don't think that's true. Perhaps it's still a large part of you, and that certainly doesn't have to change, but there's more to you than that. You just need to find the right company.

If I wanted to I could extend my own life. [ but he doesn't want to. ] But that is also why mating is important. -I- might not be there forever, but my kin will carry on my legacy and theirs will do the same, and so on and so forth, so you would always have someone.

As much as I would prefer a live mate to nest my eggs I could just as easily deposit them into a fresh corpse... though someone dying would also work too.
