[Heading toward the censer, since that's where he senses Zhongli the strongest]

A great long bronze dragon curls around the base of the censer. As you approach, it raises its head and the fluff of its tail begins to lazily move much like a cat's tail would give away its interest.

Care to linger and enjoy the scent?

[He does stay a minute, yes - reaches out a hand, careful, as though to touch the dragon]

Hey.

[ The dragon purrs affectionately as Hurricane approaches, bumping his nose into Hurricane's outstretched hand. ]

The incense first smells of chicken soup. Of home and hearth and family and nights spent in the soft room covered in blankets while playing strategy games on Hurricane's phone. It smells of imperfectly brewed tea and brand new plush toys and noise and motion and sound.

Then it changes to the scent of an icy wind on a cloudless starry night. Something dark and lonely and concerned. It smells of the city and rooftops. And questions that have no answers and choices that are all unfavorable. And yet, there is still hope. A single star to guide the way.

The lingering smell is that of oranges and rosemary. A wish that Hurricane will one day feel worthy of the self-love and confidence that he sees in you.

[oh]

[Well, now his eyes are suspiciously wet]

[He blinks them, hard - scrubs at them with one hand]

...don't worry. I ain't gonna let him down.

[ He nuzzles Hurricane's hand again and thumps his tail in agreement.

As if he doesn't have a shred of doubt that Hurricane will succeed. ]

[Pats him, gentle]

Hey. You, uh. You don't know where I can find anything weird that's been going on, do you?

I'm trying to set stuff straight, to make sure Zhongli gets back to normal.

[ The dragon-qilin shakes his head before pointing over toward the docks, where a large gate can be seen even from this distance. ]

Over there, huh?

Okay, thanks. We'll go and check it out.

[ Dragon fistbump before you head to the docks? ]

[Absolutely accepting a dragon fistbump, are you kidding]

There was this contract thing, and this lady? And I got this elemental rock thing.

Hey, me too. So you can shoot rocks at people?

Pretty sure Dendro's the one Zhongli was saying is like... trees and whatever. Growing stuff. What'd you get?
