[In the end, she returns here, remembering the casino she'd been hesitant to visit the first time.

This time... she braces herself and heads in the casino.

Walking into the casino, the flooring and wallpaper are... a choice, that’s for sure. There’s a kiosk to deposit winnings - and, now that your character pays attention, they have two hundred chips. It looks like the prizes are...

Buy off Punishment #1 - 200 chips
Buy off Punishment #2 - 200 chips
Buy off Punishment #3 - 200 chips

...Looks like only one option is actually available.

A total of three punishments, and only one to buy off. Whatever the punishments turn out to be, it’s almost certain to be horrific. But somehow, your character knows...

They could just skip over it - punishments and all. There’s no real reason they have to suffer through whatever Punishment #1 and Punishment #3 turn out to be.

They don’t have to be the one to go through this.

What will they do?

[Oh..... oh she remembers this one. She'd had to endure two of them too-- though she doesn't remember if they were the same as the ones sensitIV were left with. But they were all equally awful, so it doesn't really matter, does it?

She buys off Punishment #2 and waits for the horror that she knows is coming.

Cw: exsanguination

Panels open up in the ceiling, clear tubes coming down to find the idol. Some tubes wrap around them, forcing them still, and others—thinner tubes—stab directly into the idol's flesh.

They're not the sharpest, but what they lack in sharpness they make up in force—it definitely takes a few tries to pierce, all of which is deeply painful, but the worst part is that they don't leave it with just one.

After an arbitrary number of tubes have been stabbed into the idols, the hands retreat. Each tube is lodged tightly—so tight, they're impossible to pull out?—and possibly probably through some organs. Ooh, is it hard to breathe? Welp!

They're also constantly leaking blood. It's like, the messiest exsanguination ever.

One punishment down. One left. But do they really want to just sit through it?

They could still fast-forward to the end...

[.........she remembers this one. It's every bit as unpleasant as she remembers it. All that blood... the pain, the aching, the weakness--

But she didn't come this far to quit now. She can do this. Bring on the next punishment.

There’s the sound of canned (or perhaps just poorly recorded?) screams from speakers set into the ceiling. There’s a blast of mildly chilly air, too, no doubt a part of whatever Punishment #2 was supposed to be.

But the screams cut off, and the air returns to its normal temperature.

It’s almost time.

Do they really want to sit through this?

[Ah-- no. This one was different. If she remembers correctly, Lily had carried her back after dealing with this one.

...want is another thing entirely, however... it is worth sitting through, and she will sit through it.

Panels open up in the ceiling, mechanical hands reaching out to grab the character. If they wanted to leave, it’s definitely too late now.

Several hands force them to kneel to nearly kowtow, while other hands move to scrape the cloth on their backs off—a few other hands situate themselves as though to protect the front of the idol, like, listen, this is a family friendly show—

Before a red-hot design plate descends from the ceiling to press onto every unprotected idol's back, burning the pattern onto their backs. Each pattern is highly detailed, unique to the idol (ooc player choice!) and aesthetically beautiful, many patterns an artistic rendition of the idol's failure(s). Also, it's all very, very painful, each plate pressed to make sure the pattern won't disappear.

After the irons lift, the mechanical hands spray ?some sort of mist? onto each branded idol's back, before releasing them. It's a little cool, but not enough to alleviate the pain at all.

Your character wakes up, fully healed and without any signs of branding, in a room. Their hangman game has been updated.
