It’s easy to wonder just how long it’s been or how long it will be. There isn’t even sound to indicate anyone else is around, or ever will be. Truly, they’re simply trapped within their own mind, within this room, without anyone else to find them.
...Until, quite suddenly, sensation returns to their body like nothing had ever happened. All limbs work just as well as they did before, and they’ll have no trouble moving as usual.
They’re free to leave to the rest of the house whenever they choose, though the door will shut and lock firmly behind them once they do so.
